Stacie Nichols has worked with horses for over 30 years, she is an insured certified equine bodywork therapist, plus she has a diverse background working with animals. She started out working for the Baltimore Aquarium, the Baltimore Zoo and Imperial Egyptian Stud an Arabian Horse Farm in Hereford, MD, plus a small animal practice in Ellicott City, MD. She also works for her father, keeping the books for his company.
Stacie’s son Tommy, is not a rider but always helps around the farm when needed. He followed in his father’s footsteps and is a career firefighter in Howard County Fire and Rescue. Stacie’s daughter Cacie, grew up riding and learning great horsemanship through the United States Pony Club since the age of seven (7) and she is now twenty -five (25) and a Registered ER Nurse. During that time, Stacie volunteered as the District Coordinator (DC) for Wakefield Valley Pony Club for several years and served as the Vice Regional Supervisor (RS) of Capital Region for a few years.
Educational qualifications include an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Essex Community College in 1990. A BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2001.
Tom Nichols has been a career Firefighter/EMT for Howard County Fire and Rescue for over twenty- nine (29) years. Not only does he work serving the public, he also owns a small home improvement company.
Tom has been around horses for over 20yrs taking care and handling them along with and for his wife and daughter, truly a devoted husband and father!! Although, he does not ride, nor have time to ride ... his compassion for animals is evident by the care he provides for all the animals on the farm!
